what the day brings

I am dragging today. Having a hard time getting it together today for various reasons that I won't get into. The point of it all is in determining whethe or not I am going to let what I am currently going through hinder my praise. And the answer to tht is no. We are to praise God in season and out of season. When we are up and when we are down. Then and only then will you see your situation turned around.

Good feelings

I decided a few weeks ago to wake up with a made up mind to have a good day dispite of how I feel and what's going on around me. Spending the mornings with God before you start your day will allow you to have those good feelings throughout your day as well.

Allergies

As of late, with the weather changes, so do my allergies. We all have developed an allergic reaction to something in our lives that drive us crazy if we let it instead of taking the proper precautions. It dawned on me last night when my son told me he was "allergic" to doing the dishes. After fussing at him and getting over what he said, it made me think..what if we developed "allergic reactions" to things that are not of God?? It will help us to stay away from those things and migrate to that which is right.

New Things

This weekend started off pretty rocky for me but it ended up being one of the best weekends I've had in a while. Not only did I get plenty of information from a luncheon that I attended, I also recieved a blessed word from God and a confirmation. Just think, I started not to do anything or go anywhere because of the way my weekend started out. I was just gonna mope around the house, feeling sorry for myself. Glad I didn't! One thing that I learned from this weekend, is no matter how it starts, what matters most is how you finish.
